SOUP will be recognized among its stakeholders as the facilitating organization charged with bringing about positive changes in the education, environmental sanitation, health and livelihood as well as community development of the urban and sub-urban poor communities.
SOUP enables women, men and children of the urban and sub-urban poor communities to bring about the positive changes in their livelihood by empowering and raising awareness on individual and community issues.
We address the multifaceted challenges faced by urban poor, including economic hardship, lack of education, limited civic awareness, inadequate health services, and environmental concerns.

SOUP Members are the people who help guide the important decisions of the organization. They have the right to vote on major plans, policies, and changes that shape SOUP's future.
Currently, there are 38 SOUP members in the organization who actively engage in discussions and ensure that SOUP's mission and goals remain aligned with the needs of its beneficiaries and partners.
The Board of Directors is elected from these SOUP members, ensuring that the leaders of the organization come from people who already understand and support SOUP's goals.
